North Queensland Cowboys fans can rejoice with exciting fullback Matt Bowen signing to stay with the club for the next four years.
Twenty five-year-old Bowen, who was the 2007 Dally M fullback of the year, has been at the Cowboys for his whole first grade career.
Cowboys coach Graham Murray says Bowen is the best fullback in the game at the moment and retaining him is a vital to maintaining the club as a force in the NRL.
Club chief executive Peter Parr believes retaining one of the club's two biggest stars - alongside skipper Jonathan Thurston - will also make keeping other players easier.
