Aaron Payne will take over the captaincy of the North Queensland Cowoys this week with regular captain Travis Norton and regular vice captain Jonathon Thurston injured. Justin Smith moves into the number 6 jersey with Norton missing while Neil Sweeney replaces Brenton Bowen on the wing.
