The North Queensland Toyota Cowboys announced today that Jackson Nicolau had been signed to the club for the next 3 years.
The North Queensland Innisfail product, a the talented five-eighth and centre, will come to the Cowboys from the Melbourne Storm. The 18-year-old has represented Queensland Under 19's as well as Queensland Residents this season. He has performed consistently well in the Queensland Cup this season.
North Queensland Toyota Cowboys Football Manager Kelly Egan believes Jackson is an NRL player of the future.
"Jackson is a promising prospect that will be a valuable addition to our playing squad. He is a very simular style of player to the former Queensland Origin and Australian player Peter Jackson," Egan said.
