Cowboys trounce Storm in
Townsville

The North Queensland Cowboys have proven too strong for the Melbourne Storm running out winners 32-12 at Dairy Farmers Stadium tonight.

A crowd of 12,000 people were on hand to see the home side race away to an 18-0 lead at half time with Matt Sing and Josh Hannay sharing the points

Melbourne's Mitchell Sargent struck back shortly after half time but Matt Sing bagged a hat trick of tries when he crossed in the 59th minute to put the Cowboys further ahead.

Marcus Bai scored Storms second try in the 67th minute before Ty Williams crossed for the Cowboys bringing up the fulltime score of 32-12.
