Melbourne Storm forward Michael Crocker has been charged with a grade four dangerous throw on Souths lock Shane Rigon. Crocker faces a minimum of nine weeks on the sidelines if he takes the early guilty plea.
If Crocker fights the charges and loses, he will be out for twelve weeks.
Crocker was a certainty for the Queensland Origin side but this year?s series is already over with the Melbourne forward not due back until round 18 at the earliest.
