The Sydney Roosters' injury woes have continued with news prop Peter Cusack could miss the rest of the season with a torn anterior cruciate ligament.
Cusack hurt his knee in the Roosters' 10-8 loss to Brisbane on Friday night, fuelling claims that Suncorp Stadium's sandy surface poses a major health risk to players. Justin Hodges required a knee reconstruction after injuring himself on the unstable ground in the opening Origin match on June 11.
Fellow Queenslander Paul Bowman suffered medial ligament damage to his left knee in the same match, putting him out for six weeks.
