Dallas to Newcastle?

Wigan winger Brett Dallas could extend his playing career in Australia instead of retiring as planned at the end of this season. Dallas is having to leave the JJB Stadium due to a lack of space on the overseas rota following the arrivals of Trent Barrett and Phil Bailey for next season.

The 30-year-old had initially planned to retire but says he is mulling over the prospect of joining the Newcastle Knights in Australia. "I've spoken to Brian Carney who loves it at Newcastle and it would be great to have the chance to play outside Andrew Johns," he said. "I could be interested but I haven't definitely decided on anything yet.
