The crowd of 8,050 at TIO Stadium in Darwin have been entertained as the Penrith Panthers humbled the Gold Coast Titans 40-18.
The Panthers found their groove in the second half, however after the first 40 minutes the game was locked up at 12-all.
Gold Coast winger, David Mead opened the scoring as he played cleaner to dive on a Matt Moylan error. Aidan Sezer was unable to convert, Titans held 4-0 after 7 minutes.
Luke Walsh crafted the first Penrith four-pointer has he posted a wonderful solo try. He converted his only try of the 2013 season to give the Panthers the lead, 6-4, after 15 minutes.
Skillful centre David Simmons finished off a spread play from the Panthers as Dean Whare linked with Simmons to crash over.
David Mead claimed his second try of the outing as he took a pin-point kick from Aidan Sezer to stroll over the goal line untouched.
Aidan Sezer locked the game at 12-all with a successful penalty goal as the half time siren sounded in Darwin.
