Davico under injury cloud

Wigan?s new signing Luke Davico is facing an uncertain future after hospital scans confirmed a tear to his pectoral muscle.

The former Canberra Raiders prop forward, who was out for six months with the same injury last season, suffered the latest blow in the Warriors? friendly match at Salford on Tuesday.

?It?s bad news,? confirmed coach Denis Betts. ?I feel for the lad more than anything else. ?He had settled in really well and was enjoying his time here. It?s not a nice way to start your new career.

?He?s had some scans and seen the specialist and we?re just waiting on some feedback.?

Wigan are still reeling from the shock of losing skipper Andy Farrell for four months with a knee injury but they will welcome back full-back Kris Radlinski from a back injury for Sunday?s friendly against London Broncos at Orrell.

Radlinski pulled out of Great Britain?s squad for the Tri-Nations Series after succumbing to a lower back injury but has completed a period of rehabilitation and will lead the side in Farrell?s absence.

The Warriors will also give first appearances to new signings Jerry Seuseu and David Vaealiki against the Broncos, who have New Zealand Test half-back Thomas Leuluai returning from injury.
