Diskin returns for Rhinos

Great Britain international Matt Diskin is set to return to the Leeds Rhinos side for their engage Super League trip to Castleford.

Diskin has missed the last three weeks after having minor knee surgery but is expected to feature this week.

New signing Jamie Thackray is not included in the squad and will make his first appearance as a Leeds Rhinos player for the Senior Academy side when they take on their counterparts from Castleford on Sunday.

Kevin Sinfield is included, despite picking up a dead leg in the win over Bradford on Friday. He will continue to receive treatment this week to try and rectify the problem for Sunday.

Head coach Tony Smith said: ?We have got the bonus this week of having a long turn around from Friday to Sunday so it means that we have been able to give some of the players a bit more time to recover.

?We will make a decision on Kevin later in the week but the injury has responded well to treatment so far.

?Jamie Thackray has trained with the squad this week but it will be good for him to get some game time under his belt in the Senior Academy before he comes into the first team squad.?
