Dogs v Cowboys

Darren Smith says it will be a mentally tough job for the Bulldogs to pick themselves up for Saturday's game against the North Queensland Cowboys after the emotions of their memorable win over the Knights last Sunday.

"Mentally it's going to be tough for a lot of guys to pick themselves up after such a big game against Newcastle. Emotionally it was a big effort and obviously we're all still coming down from that so we'll have to make sure we're able to get ourselves back to our best both physically and mentally," Smith said.

With injury again ruling out Willie Talau no changes have been made to the side for Saturday's game.

The Bulldogs will make their training session on Friday (2.30-4.00pm) at Dairy Farmers Stadium open to supporters. The players will be free to sign autographs after training.
