TOOWOOMBA has been installed as firm favourite for tomorrow?s QLD Wizard Cup Grand Final at Suncorp Stadium, with Redcliffe paying $3 a win with TAB.
Unveiling their market for the grand final, TAB has given Redcliffe 8.5 points head start at $1.85 for the fourth grand final between the Dolphins and Clydesdales.
The figures come a fortnight after Toowoomba pummeled the Dolphins 56-22 in the major semi final at Clive Berghofer Stadium. Both teams won one game each head-to-head in the regular season.
Toowoomba is short at $1.35 for victory in the grand final, with a Toowoomba try paying $1.95 as the first score for the afternoon.
Clydesdales fullback Nick Parfitt is at $12 to be the first to cross the stripe, a sum matched for Redcliffe backs Ryan Cullen and Nick Emmett.
Denan Kemp, the second highest tryscorer in the competition this season, is listed at $13.
Danny Burke or Dave Taylor at $41 each or Derricke Watkins at $34 look to be the best of the long odds for first try scorer.
In his seventh Wizard Cup grand final Troy Lindsay is quoted at $34, with retiring teammate Adam Starr back out at $41.
Some unusual odds for the day include $151 for no tries being scored and $81 for either side to score the first points of the game with a field goal.
