Dragons name strongest lineup for Bulldogs trial

The St George Illawarra Dragons have today named a 31-man squad for the Mercury Challenge clash against the Canterbury-Bankstown Bulldogs at WIN Stadium, Wollongong this Friday night, February 18.

The pre-season fixture will mark the Club's final match on home soil ahead of their trip to the UK to face the Wigan Warriors in the World Club Challenge (February 27).

Dragons Head Coach Wayne Bennett returns to take charge of the reigning Premiers for the clash after leading the NRL All-Stars to victory over their Indigenous counterparts last weekend and has made several changes to the team that won the Charity Shield.

Dragons captain Ben Hornby and second rower Beau Scott will both take to the field in their first games of the year after calf-strains had ruled the duo out of the 32-10 victory over the South Sydney Rabbitohs while five-eighth Jamie Soward and Brett Morris return to the line-up after their respective All-Stars duties.
