Dugan back for the Raiders

Dugan back for the Raiders

The Canberra Raiders will welcome back State of Origin fullback Josh Dugan for this weekend's clash against the Melbourne Storm at Canberra Stadium, after he was given the all clear by medical staff to return from an ankle injury.

Dugan has been unavailable since injuring his ankle against the Cowboys in 13 and will be a welcome addition to the Raiders line-up, which has undergone some further changes due to injury.

Daniel Vidot gets his opportunity this weekend after Reece Robinson was ruled out for 4-6 weeks with a knee injury, after he underwent surgery today to repair damage to his knee which he sustained late in Saturday night's loss to the Sharks.

In the back row, boom rookie Josh Papalii will also miss the next 3-4 weeks with a groin injury, which sees Bronson Harrison return to the right hand edge for the Raiders, while Danny Galea gets his chance to start this weekend at left back row.

Galea's inclusion sees Joe Picker move back to the bench, with Josh Miller once again named as 18th man.

Raiders Coach David Furner said it's great to have Dugan back in the side and said he'll be up for the challenge this weekend.
