Eels lose Morrison for three
matches

Parramatta forward Glenn Morrison will miss the rest of the NRL regular season after undergoing surgery today to have a plate inserted in a badly broken finger.

Morrison suffered the injury in Friday night's 56-4 win over the Bulldogs at Parramatta Stadium, ruling him out of action until the finals start on the weekend of September 9.

Coach Brian Smith is yet to decide on a replacement for Sunday's blockbuster against St George Illawarra at Oki Jubilee Stadium. Named on an extended six-man bench, Henry Perenara is likely to force his way into the squad.
