Eels name McGuire at halfback

Pirtek Parramatta Eels coach Stephen Kearney has named Casey McGuire in the halves with Jarryd Hayne for Monday night's clash against Souths following a season-ending injury to Jeff Robson.

Robson will undergo surgery today for a fractured cheekbone suffered in last night's loss to Melbourne at Parramatta Stadium.

In other news, Carl Webb has been suspended for two weeks by the NSW Cup judiciary for a dangerous throw in last week's clash between Wentworthville and Windsor.
