Eels officials to meet over bad
behaviour

Parramatta officials have scheduled an emergency meeting for today in an attempt to put a stop to the alcohol-related incidents that have rocked the embattled NRL club.

The move comes after the Eels fined winger Jarryd Hayne $1,000 yesterday over an incident at a hotel on Saturday night. Hayne, who made his first grade debut three weeks ago, has apologised after a member of the public complained about his behaviour at The Roxy hotel in Parramatta.

The latest incident is the fourth in recent weeks to engulf the struggling club, which has won just three games in 2006.
