El Masri facing up to two months on
the sideline

The Bulldogs number one injury curse has struck again with points-scoring machine Hazem El Masri facing up to two months on the sidelines.

El Masri will see a specialist tomorrow to determine the extent of a medial ligament knee injury suffered in the Bulldogs victory over Brisbane on Friday.

He could be out for up to eight weeks, possibly ruling him out for the rest of the season. Regular Bulldogs fullback Luke Patten is not due back from an ankle injury for at least another two weeks, while his initial replacement, Trent Cutler, also injured his ankle a fortnight ago.
