Leeds Rhinos ran riot at Headingley Carnegie Stadium as they thrashed Wakefield Wildcats for the second time this season.

Danny McGuire got the hosts off to the perfect start by finishing off a flowing movement after only two minutes. Sam Obst levelled the game up on twenty minutes but the Wildcats were then blown away as the Rhinos ran in 5 unanswered tries, playing some breathtaking Rugby, to lead 36-6 at the break.

Leeds continued to dominate the second half, McGuire completed his hat-trick with Keith Senior scoring a brace. Skipper Kevin Sinfield equalled Andy Farrell's record of scoring in 48 successive Super League rounds by kicking 7 goals.

Danny Brough got on the score-sheet by adding a late consolation as the poor Wildcats had no answer to the rampaging Rhinos who moved six points clear of the rest at the top of the engage Super League.

Wigan Warriors came from behind to ease to victory over local rivals Warrington Wolves at the JJB Stadium.

The Wolves took control of the first half and led 14-8 at the break. Matt King, Vinnie Anderson and Andy Bracek all scored tries. George Carmont did give Wigan the early lead but they made to many errors.

After the break Wigan blew Warrington away by running in five unanswered tries. Man of the match Gareth Hock scored one and set up Trent Barrett for one of his two scores. Liam Colbon and Joel Tomkins also got tries as the Wolves fell apart in the second half.

St Helens 28 Tries: Flannery, Cunningham, Graham, Gardner 2, Pryce Goals: Long 2

Catalans Dragons 10 Tries: Mogg, Greenshields Goals: Bosc

St Helens gained a scrappy win over Catalans Dragons in a poor game at Knowsley Road.

Chris Flannery opened the scoring for Saints before Keiron Cunningham and James Graham scored others as the hosts led 16-0 at half time.

Adam Mogg got Catalans back into the game with an early second half score, but an Ade Gardner brace and a late try from Leon Pryce ended any hopes for the Dragons as St Helens recorded a comfortable win to move above their opponents into second place.

Bradford Bulls came from behind to defeat Castleford Tigers at the Jungle.

Castleford started the better and scored the first two tries of the game through Michael Shenton and Ryan McGoldrick. Paul Sykes and Terry Newton draw Bradford level only for Joe Westerman to regain the lead for the hosts. However, three tries in a four minute spell from Sam Burgess, Glenn Morrison and Jamie Langley gave the Bulls a 28-14 lead at the break.

Michael Wainwright gave the Tigers some hope but Bradford pulled away and took the points with a three-try burst from Michael Platt, Ben Jeffries and Simon Finnigan.

Harlequins RL 34 Tries: Clubb 2, Rinaldi, Worrincy, Melling 2 Goals: Paul 5

Hull FC 26 Tries: Whiting, Lee, Washbrook, Yeaman, Sing Goals: Hall 3

Harlequins RL stunned Hull FC by turning around a 16 point deficit to claim victory at the Twickenham Stoop.

Hull dominated the first half and with tries from Tommy Lee, Danny Washbrook and Richard Whiting, who sadly broke his leg later on, led 16-6 at half time. Tony Clubb did pull one back for Quins just before the interval.

In the second half ex Aussie test player Scott Hill took control of the game as the Londoners stormed back. Julien Rinaldi scored an interception, Michael Worrincy ,Chris Melling with two and another for Clubb all got on the score-sheet as Quins claimed the points to send Hull to second from bottom of the engage Super League.

Huddersfield Giants 50 Tries: Aspinwall, Elford, Robinson, Lawrence 2, Skandalis, Cudjoe, Whaturia, Raleigh Goals: Thorman 7

Hull KR 16 Tries: Murrell, Lovegrove, Fox Goals: Cooke

Huddersfield Giants brushed aside Hull KR and gained revenge for Last weeks challenge cup defeat by the same opponents.

Scott Murrell scored first for the Robins but the Giants hit back and with tries from Martin Aspinwall, Shane Elford and Luke Robinson they led 20-6 at the break.

Huddersfield took control of the game in the second half and ran in four tries in quick succession. Teenager Michael Lawrence scored a double with Leroy Cudjoe also getting in on the act. Rhys Lovegrove and Peter Fox's late tries were only consolations for Rovers as the Giants cruised to an easy victory.
