Att: 11,191 Huddersfield Giants made it six wins on the bounce by shutting out Hull FC at the K.C. Stadium.

The Black and Whites made a bright start but Richard Horne wasted a chance and also the hosts had a try chalked off by the referee for a forward pass. Huddersfield made the most of their let off and opened the scoring through David Hodgson on 28-minutes. Just before the break, the visitors doubled their lead with a close range effort from hooker Shaun Lunt.

In the early stages of the second-half the Giants effectively killed the game off by taking an 18-0 lead thanks to a Michael Lawrence try under the posts. Sam Moa was held up over the line as Hull tried to get back in the game.

However, with four-minutes left ex-Huddersfield man Chris Thorman was caught flat footed by a Liam Fulton bomb and Leroy Cudjoe was on hand to wrap up the points for the visitors who stayed on the heels of the top two.
