Leeds Rhinos ran in 14-tries as they demolished Castleford Tigers in a one-sided game at Headingley Carnegie Stadium.

Both sides came into this game after a week off looking to cement their play-off places and it was Leeds who opened the scoring through winger Scott Donald after a build up of pressure. Castleford hit back immediately and took the lead with a James Evans try in the corner, converted by Joe Westerman.

The Rhinos upped the tempo in the last quarter of the half and ran in four further tries to lead 26-6 at the break. England winger Ryan Hall completed a hat-trick with Kiwi Fullback BrentWebb adding the other score.

Lee Smith increased the Rhinos lead in the early stages of the second period. Rangi Chase responded for the visitors but this was as good as it got for them as Leeds ripped the Tigers apart.

Hall went on to score five-tries with Webb scoring his second and forwards Kylie Leuluai, Jamie Peacock and Ali Lauiti
