Injury hit, Leeds Rhinos held off a Hull KR fightback to gain victory at a packed Craven Park.

Rovers dominated the possession in the first half and took the lead with a David Mills try. Brett Webb got Leeds on the scoreboard. Two Paul Cooke penalty goals edged the hosts in front but seconds before half-time Rob Burrow scooted over to give the Rhinos a narrow 12-10 lead.

Two quick-fire tries in the early stages of the second half from Kylie Leuluai and a second for Burrow gave the visitors a 24-10 lead. The Robins would not lie down and tries from to ex Leeds players Scott Murrell and Peter Fox with two goals from Cooke to bring the scores to 24-22 with just over fifteen minutes left.

However, Leeds held firm and clinched the game with late tries from Keith Senior and Matt Diskin.

St Helens once again got the better of Warrington Wolves in classic game at the Halliwell Jones Stadium.

In end to end action Saints took a 14-10 lead at the break. Paul Clough, Ade Gardiner and a length of the field interception for Francis Meli were the visors try scorers. Kevin Penny scored twice for the Wolves.

Warrington seemed to have taken control of the game, after the break, when Penny scored his hat-trick and John Clarke added another. But St Helens stormed back with three tries in the last 25 minutes. Clough completed a hat-trick and Gardner scored his second to seal a dramatic win.

Catalans Dragons held on for victory to move second in a high scoring game against Castleford Tigers in Perpignan.

Dimitri Pelo scored the first try of the game with Jerome Guisset also going over. Michael Shenton and Joe Westerman gave the visitors a 12-10 lead after 22 minutes but the hosts hit back to lead 24-10 with three tries in a seven minute spell. Korkidas pulled a try back for Castleford but Clint Greenshields touched down just before the break to give the French-side a 30-18 lead.

Thomas Bosc extended the Dragons lead but the Tigers gave the hosts a scare with tries from Ryan McGoldrick and Adam Fletcher. However the game was won for Catalans with a last minute try from Gregory Mounis to make it eight matches unbeaten.

Wakefield Wildcats produced a remarkable second half comeback to sink Harlequins RL at Belle Vue.

Jamie Rooney gave the hosts a prefect start but Quins roared back with four quick-fire tries from Danny Orr, Matt Gafa, Michael Worrincy and Rikki Sheriffe to lead 20-6 at half-time.

The second half belonged to Wakefield. Rooney scored his second and ex London player Tony Martin scored another to cut the visitors lead to 20-16. Sam Obst completed the comeback with the match winning try. Danny Brough slotted over the goals as the Wildcats claimed the points in a thrilling win.

Bradford Bulls moved fourth with a hard-fought win over Wigan Warriors at Grattan Stadium Odsal.

Bradford Bulls made a strong start to the game and scored three tries in the first sixteen minutes. Semi Tadulala, Shontayne Hape and Ben Jeffries all got on the score-sheet as the hosts lead 16-0. Wigan got on the board just before the break with a Par Richards penalty.

Richards narrowed the deficit with a try in the corner and Phil Bailey gave Wigan a sniff with another score. However a try from James Evans and the boot of Paul Deacon won the game for the Bulls who move above Wigan in the table.
