Fan brawl penalties expected to be
ratified tomorrow

The National Rugby League is expected to introduce penalties against clubs who can't control their fans in a board meeting phone conference tomorrow.

The NRL is expected to issue a suspended four point penalty to the Bulldogs over their fans' brawling at Friday night's game against the Sydney Roosters.

The four points will be taken off the Bulldogs if the embattled club is involved in another incident this season.

But the penalty can't be ratified until the NRL board meets.

NSW Police Commissioner Ken Moroney today instructed his officers to hunt down and prosecute those responsible for the brawl.
