Fitzgibbon in doubt for Grand
Final

Sydney Roosters second rower Craig Fitzgibbon may be in doubt for next week?s Grand Final after sustaining a thumb injury in the victory over the Bulldogs.

The goal kicker, who returned three weeks ago from what was expected to be a season-ending knee-injury, played his first match in the starting side since returning.

Fitzgibbon cracked a thumb during a bruising encounter at Aussie Stadium.

The emotional win was Ricky Stuart's sixth from six finals as Roosters coach.

Shannon Hegarty (Roosters) left the field in the second half with suspected broken ribs.
