Fitzgibbon Signs For Three Years

The Sydney Roosters have re-signed Craig Fitzgibbon for a further three seasons which will see the star backrower based at Bondi until 2006.

The Roosters are attempting to re-sign all thir high profile players before the June 30 deadline because as of July 1st, the players coming off contract are all free agents and rival clubs can start bidding for their services.

It's hard to see the Roosters retaining the same roster for next season considering they are the defending premiers and have some of the highest profile players in the NRL on their books.

The jewel in the Roosters crown will be Adrian Morley with the Englishman from Leeds uncertain if he will continue to play in Australia past this season. He can command big dollars and the interest from clubs back in the U.K will be enormous, as will his contract.

The Roosters recently announced the signing of Michael Crocker, Anthony Minichiello and Chris Flannery ensuring the majority of the premiership winning side will be together into 2005.
