Rising star Jason Chan has been selected to make his senior debut for the St George Illawarra Premier League side this Sunday at Kogarah Oki Jubilee Stadium against Cronulla. Chan is one of several young players signed by the Dragons this year from Qld Cup affiliate club Brothers Valleys. Dragons Development Officer Craig Young rates the young Queenslander highly and tipped Chan for greater honours from the first time he saw him play. In a meteoric rise, Jason Chan has progressed from an outstanding 2003 season with Brothers Valleys Colts (which included several cameo appearances in the Mixwell Cup) and continued his strong form to be a standout in the Illawarra Jersey Flegg squad this season culminating in his elevation the Premier League this weekend. All at Brothers Valleys wish Jason well as he makes his senior debut and provides a glowing example of the high quality of talented young men being developed through the Blues network of junior and senior clubs throughout Queensland, New South Wales and the Northern Territory.Like
