St George Illawarra centre Mark Gasnier says he still doesn't know whether a hip injury will keep him out of Friday night's semi-final against Manly at Aussie Stadium.
Gasnier underwent scans on the injury this morning and will visit a specialist later today when he will find out whether there is any structural damage after he copped a knee to the hip in Saturday night's qualifying final win over Brisbane. The Test three-quarter says the hip feels a lot less sore than it has over the past couple of days and is hoping coach Nathan Brown will give him until kick-off on Friday to prove his fitness.
If Gasnier is ruled out Premier League centre Darryl Millard is expected to be elevated into the top grade line-up, though Brown also has the option of moving utility Ben Hornby into the centres and bringing playmaker Mathew Head into the starting side at halfback.
