Giants ready to face St Helens

It's the Powergen Challenge Cup this weekend and the Giants take on current holders St Helens at The Galpharm Stadium this Sunday (3:00pm). The Giants have announced their 20 man squad for the contest (see link below) which sees Jon Sharp pit his wits against his former club.

The Giants last Cup tie was against St Helens in last season's semi-final at Warrington, but this time out the Giants have home advantage and the confidence of victories in their last 2 Super League outings.

Giants coach Jon Sharp reported a clean bill of health amongst his players and said they were all looking forward to Sunday's game. All the players will have to be at their very best on Sunday to compete with St Helens; on their day they can be just about the best in Super League.
