Newcastle centre Matthew Gidley is expected to find out today if he joins a growing list of players to miss the Kangaroo tour after scans revealed he had a torn shoulder tendon.
Gidley had tests on his right shoulder yesterday morning before visiting a specialist in Sydney this afternoon.
