Greg Eastwood remains a Bulldog until 2015

The Canterbury-Bankstown Bulldogs wish to confirm the re-signing of Greg Eastwood for a further three years, through until the end of season 2016.
Eastwood made his debut back in round 26 of season 2005 for the Brisbane Broncos against the Parramatta Eels and went on to play 64 games for the Club before moving to the Bulldogs in 2009.
After one season with the Club in 2009, the now 26-year-old played for Leeds in the English Super League in 2010 before returning to the Bulldogs in 2011 where he has since made 67 appearances in the blue and white.
The Auckland born Manurewa Marlins junior has also made 18 appearances for New Zealand which included being part of the victorious 2008 World Cup squad.
Eastwood is happy to have his future sorted with the Club and is looking forward to the remainder of season 2013 and beyond.
“It is always good to have your future sorted nice and early and I’m grateful and happy to be staying with this great Club,” Eastwood said. “I’ve got many friends that I’ve made over the years and the current squad has a good amount of talent that I believe can do a lot over the next few years.
“It’s been a tough start to the year but we’re working hard and looking forward to a bright future.”
Coach Des Hasler has been impressed with Eastwood’s form to open the season and is looking forward to having him as part of the squad in the coming years.
“Greg is a smart player and New Zealand International who is always working hard on his game,” he said. “He is a major part of our forward pack both in attack and defence so it is good to know that he’ll be part of the Club for the next three years.”
