Gritty Panthers sink sorry Eels

The Parramatta Eels yo-yo season has continued with the Penrith Panthers trouncing the home side 22-16 to sneak into the top eight.

The win keeps the Panthers top eight aspirations on track, as a win from the Eels would have seen Parramatta open up a three point break on their top eight rivals, instead they slide down to ninth, with the Panthers leap-frogging them into eighth spot.
