Grothe no show

Test coach Ricky Stuart says erratic Parramatta star Eric Grothe is no longer in his plans after the winger failed to turn up to today's Australian train-on squad gathering at the Sydney Football Stadium.

Grothe, who played in Sunday's preliminary final loss to Melbourne, also infamously showed up two hours late for a medical for City last year before being ruled out of the City-Country Origin match.

Stuart says he will not tolerate players who do not respect the Test jumper.

Meanwhile, North Queensland forward Carl Webb has been ruled out of contention for the October 14 Test against New Zealand in Wellington with his calf tear still causing concern.
