Hicks celebrates 200th in Jack Gibson Cup battle

Pirtek Eels winger Chris Hicks has been named to make his 200th NRL appearance this Friday night in the Jack Gibson Cup between the Eels and Roosters at Parramatta Stadium.

The former Penrith, Warrington and Manly winger retires at the end of the season and has retained his spot in an unchanged Eels lineup to the one that lost to the Tigers last Sunday.

As part of Prostate Cancer Awareness month, the Eels' major sponsor PIRTEK will present the Prostate Cancer Foundation of Australia (PCFA) with an $80,000 cheque on the night - a direct result of the Pirtek National Fishing Challenge held in April this year where nearly 4000 anglers participated across Australia for over $140,000 in cash and prizes whilst raising funds and awareness for Prostate Cancer.

PIRTEK have also invited the PCFA to replace their front of jersey logo on the night, and will be auctioning off the unique one-off game jerseys to raise funds for Prostate Cancer research.
