Melbourne could pay a heavy price for its disappointing 30-28 loss to Wests Tigers today after five-eighth Scott Hill was placed on report for a high shot on Scott Prince.
Hill hit the Tigers halfback high in the 19th minute of the Leichhardt Oval clash. The incident is likely to come under the scrutiny of the match review committee, as will a late and high shot on Dallas Johnson from Tigers lock Jamaal Lolesi, who was also placed on report.
Hill has also been implicated in a more serious matter of referee-manhandling from the fallout at Leichhardt Oval, with whistle-blower Jason Robinson the man in the middle.
