Hill stays with Storm

Melbourne Storm star Scott Hill has signed a new deal, worth $1.5 million over five years to stay with the Melbourne Storm. The deal will almost certainly see Hill finish his career with the Storm and his signature comes just days after another original Storm player, Matt Geyer, decided to put pen to paper and extend his tenure with the Storm.

Hill had been linked with the Sharks and many thought he would finish his career with former coach Chris Anderson and former partner in crime Brett Kimmorley. Hill said all the talk of his imminent departure out of Melbourne was pure ?speculation?.

Hill was also courted by the Canberra Raiders and Wests Tigers but his desire to remain under coach Craig Bellamy was the main reason Hill opted to stay with the Storm.

Hill has also been offered a coaching role with the Storms feeder club, Brisbane Norths after his contract expires.
