Melbourne prop Rodney Howe could be back within three weeks after tests cleared him of a serious knee injury.
Storm officials feared the worst after Howe injured his knee during the National Rugby League club's 42-16 win over Penrith at Olympic Park on Saturday.
But tests have revealed no serious damage to the anterior cruciate ligament, saving Howe from a knee reconstruction and an early end to his season.
