Hull and Huddersfield Preview (Round 15)

Hull bid to equal their best run in Super League when they meet Huddersfield in the clash of the form teams at the KC Stadium on Sunday.

Peter Sharp?s Hull have won their last six matches, one short of their previous best in 2001, while Jon Sharp?s rejuvenated Giants are going for a fourth successive victory.

?Hull are playing with confidence after superb victories over Bradford and Leeds,? said Sharp, a former Hull player of the early nineties.

?However, it is the nature of these victories that has been most impressive as they have been very dominant in all aspects of their play.

?They are unbeaten in six games and we are unbeaten in three so it will make for an intriguing clash.?

Also with a record in sight is Hull centre Kirk Yeaman, Super League?s leading tryscorer who has touched down in each of his last eight matches and needs just two more tries to equal Shaun Briscoe?s Super League club record of 22.

Hull, who have the chance to leapfrog champions Bradford into third place, will give a first appearance of the season to 18-year-old stand-off Tommy Lee, who has pushed last year?s Challenge Cup final hero Danny Brough out of the side.

?This is my big chance to show Peter what I can do and I can?t wait,? he said.

?It was a great thrill when I made my debut last year and now I feel better equipped, although I also know I have a lot of improvement still to make.?
