Hunt to miss at least a month

Fullback Karmichael Hunt is facing between four and six weeks on the sidelines with a hamstring injury in the latest blow to Brisbane's NRL premiership defence.

The club's medical staff suspect Hunt suffered a grade two hamstring tear towards the end of today's session in Brisbane. He left the ground on crutches but is unlikely to have scans until early next week.

The injury comes hard on the loss of captain Darren Locker and Test winger Brent Tate with centre Justin Hodges another week away from returning from a knee injury.
