Melbourne Storm sensation Greg Inglis has been named in the Junior Kangaroos train-on squad to play matches against Papua New Guinea in Darwin on Saturday, October 8, and against New Zealand A at Telstra Stadium on October 15.
Inglis has been a revelation in the NRL in 2005, playing 11 first grade games and scoring six tries.
Season 2005 has been a big year for Inglis.
He played his first NRL game, scoring on debut; played for Queensland under-19?s in the State-of-Origin curtain raiser; and won the Courier-Mail Player-of-the-Year award in the Queensland Cup having only played 12 games.
He was also nominated for the Most Promising Young Athlete in Sport award at the National Aboriginal and Torres Straight Islander Awards on Thursday night.
