Injury update Carl Webb

North Queensland Cowboys officials have confirmed that Carl Webb has suffered a broken jaw during the club's 22-18 nail-biting victory over the St George Illawarra Dragons yesterday.

Webb was forced off at WIN Stadium after just 10 minutes with blood streaming from his mouth.

The injury is likely to sideline Webb for two months, ending any chance for him gaining a Kangaroos jersey for the Australia v New Zealand Test on April 20, and putting in major doubt for Queensland's State of Origin opener against NSW on May 23.

North Queensland doctor Kevin Arlett booked the 26-year-old utility forward in for immediate surgery before confirming that Webb's jaw appeared to have come into contact with an opponent's shoulder.
