Injury woes continue for Knights

Test winger Timana Tahu is in doubt for Newcastle's National Rugby League clash with Parramatta as the Knights' early-season injury misery continue.

Tahu has been named to tackle the Eels at Parramatta Stadium on Friday night but a recurring ankle injury threatens to place him among the Knights' growing band of casualties.

After losing experienced forwards Ben Kennedy and Matt Parsons for up to a month in the Knights' first-up win over the New Zealand Warriors, coach Michael Hagan today had winger Anthony Quinn join the unavailable list with a cheekbone injury.

Adam Macdougall, Mark Hughes, Justin Ryder and Clint Newton are yet to even start their 2003 campaigns.
