Integral Energy Joins Forces with
Dragons Development Squad

The St.George Bank Dragons today announced Integral Energy as the major supporter of the Dragons Development program that benefits more than 100,000 children each year.

Under the new sponsorship arrangement, Integral Energy will become the Dragons Illawarra Community Partner and also be the naming rights sponsor of the Dragons Development Program.

Integral Energy, the electricity supplier for Western Sydney and the Illawarra, has taken a more community-orientated approach to its sponsorship of the St George Illawarra Dragons after five years as Major Sponsor of the club.

The Dragons Development program, which has face-to-face contact with more than 100,000 children each year, delivers a range of rugby league programs and key social messages.

St George Illawarra Football Club CEO, Peter Doust, said the club was delighted to continue their long and fruitful association with Integral Energy.

"Integral Energy continues to be a great supporter of the Dragons and we are delighted to have this leading energy corporation now specifically supporting our extensive development work within the community, he said.

The Illawarra region is of direct importance to Integral Energy and the Dragons will be working closely with them in this important region.

Integral Energy CEO, Richard Powis, said the new-look sponsorship would build on Integral?s established relationship with the club and also fit with the corporation?s sponsorship priorities, including fostering young sporting talent in the Illawarra.

We want our sponsorship portfolio to be more aligned to community activities and focus on promoting youth and family empowerment, he said.

Integral Energy is also a major supporter of other youth activities including Schools Spectacular, Southern Stars, Art Express, the Illawarra Surf Life Saving Association Talent Squad and the South Coast Surf Life Saving Association Development Squad.
