Wests Tigers coach Tim Sheens says he is more than confident his players are focused on this week's preliminary final against St George Illawarra and not a possible grand final appearance the following Sunday.
The Tigers play the Dragons at the Sydney Football Stadium on Saturday night to cement a place in the decider.
Sheens said there was no sign of over-confidence, despite the Tigers' good form in the finals.
"I think they understand that really the two sides, Parramatta and St George [Illawarra] have been sitting there, waiting for everyone to knock themselves around," he said.
"Everyone understands that this is a big, big game and I don't think our guys are thinking past this week's game I can tell you now."
Sheens said it would be a dangerous move to look past the Dragons.
"We haven't booked a ticket to the grand final yet so why worry about it?
"It's like saying what you do if you won lotto - you can't win lotto if you haven't got a ticket in it."
