Jacob Loko signs with the Bulldogs

CANTERBURY-BANKSTOWN BULLDOGS STATEMENT
The Canterbury-Bankstown Bulldogs wish to confirm that Jacob Loko has joined the Club.

The 21-year-old has arrived at the Bulldogs from the Parramatta Eels to continue his rehabilitation from a knee injury that has seen him sidelined since the start of the season.

Loko has played 23 matches in the NRL since making his debut for the Eels in Round 5 of season 2011.

Chief Executive Raelene Castle believes a fresh start and a new environment will give Loko the best opportunity to get back to his best.

"It's been well documented the troubles Jacob has had with injury but we think that with a change in his approach to rehabilitation we could see the best from here in the blue and white," Castle said.

"We have seen how much of a damaging player he is when he burst on to the scene and we hope he can back to that form here at Belmore."

PARRAMATTA EELS STATEMENT
The Dyldam Parramatta Eels have granted Jacob Loko an early release from his contract with the club to take up an offer from the Canterbury-Bankstown Bulldogs.

We wish Jacob all the best for his future
