North Queensland Toyota Cowboys forward James Tamou has rejoined his teammates in Sydney after having scans in hospital late last night.
Reassuringly, the scans came back as normal and James will return home to Townsville as planned later today.
He will have further precautionary scans early this week, but is not considered to be in any long-term doubt for the Cowboys.
Our medical staff believe he re-aggravated a previous condition in the incident in the first half of last night's win against Canterbury.
Pleasingly, the strength in his arm, which was at a reduced level when James was replaced, has improved significantly in the past 12 hours.
Thank-you to all those who have expressed their concern, and passed on their best wishes, regarding James overnight.
