John Carlaw has reportedly signed a one-year deal with the St George Illawarra Dragons.
The former Warriors centre / winger was all but signed with UK Super League club, the Salford Reds and applied for a work permit; but the deal fell through earlier this month.
Born in Gosford (NSW) in 1975, Carlaw is a veteran of 136 first grade games. He debuted in 1997 for the Hunter Mariners before linking up with Melbourne, Balmain and Wests Tigers. He played with the Warriors in the 2002 Grand Final and backed up again in 2003 before being released.
