Jordan McLean guilty, suspended 7 weeks

The NRL judiciary tonight found Jordan McLean GUILTY of a Dangerous Tackle on Newcastle Knights player Alex McKinnon in Round 3.

McLean, a Storm interchange player, will miss SEVEN matches as a result.

McLean and his legal counsel arrived at Rugby League Central around 6:00pm, with evidence, arguments and deliberations taking over an hour to reach the guilty verdict.

More than an hour was then required for the NRL judiciary panel to decide on the length of his suspension after hearing arguments from both NRL prosecutors and McLean's defence team.
