Judiciary news

Parramatta prop Fuifui Moimoi is facing up to 10 weeks on the sidelines for his high tackle on Manly forward Brent Kite.

Moimoi has been charged with a grade three reckless high tackle for the incident which saw him sent off in the Eels' 31-18 win on Saturday, with his previous poor record at the NRL judiciary meaning he faces a seven-week ban with an early guilty plea and 10 weeks if he contests the charge and is found guilty.

If he takes the early plea, Moimoi will only play again this season if the ninth-placed Eels make the preliminary final. The Tongan-born forward ram missed the Eels finals charge last year after being banned for nine weeks for a high tackle.

Also charged by the match review committee were New Zealand Warriors prop Ruben Wiki and Sydney Roosters back Amos Roberts. Wiki will miss one match with an early guilty plea for a careless high tackle, while Roberts is facing a two-match ban.
