Judiciary news

Cronulla centre Ben Pomeroy will risk missing two matches when he contests his grade one contrary conduct charge at the NRL judiciary tomorrow night.

Pomeroy would have missed only one game with an early guilty plea for his part in a 38th minute fight during Saturday's match against St George Illawarra at WIN Stadium. An unsuccessful challenge would mean Pomeroy missing the Sharks' last game of 2006, against Canberra on Saturday, and the club's first match of 2007.

Raiders forward Michael Weyman will be free to take the field for the Toyota Park clash after pleading guilty to the same charge for a similar incident in the match against Melbourne on Saturday.
