Judiciary Update

Bulldogs captain Andrew Ryan is facing a one or two match suspension for his tackle which left St George Illawarra prop Jason Ryles stunned during Saturday's clash in Wollongong.

Ryan has been charged with a grade two careless high tackle for a 16th minute shot which resulted in the dazed Dragons co-captain being assisted from the field during the Bulldogs' 28-24 win.

He will miss one match with an early guilty plea and two if he unsuccessfully defends the charge at the NRL judiciary.

South Sydney second-rower David Fa'alogo has received a grade one striking charge for an incident in which his forearm appeared to hit Gold Coast prop Ian Donnelly during his side's 20-14 win at Telstra Stadium on Saturday.

Fa'alogo can escape a ban with an early guilty plea but will miss one match if he decides to defend the charge and is found guilty.
